Why can’t I use my Capital One card to make Afterpay payments?
Capital One recently made a decision to prevent their credit cards from being used to make Afterpay purchases and payments.

I only have one credit card -- my Capital One card. What am I supposed to do?
Afterpay accepts debit or credit cards, including Mastercard, Visa, and American Express. You can find more information about storing a new card to your account here.
I have multiple cards including a Capital One credit card. What do I need to do?

I have a Capital One debit card, am I affected?
You can still make payments with a Capital One debit card.
Why have I been charged a late fee?
Capital One recently made a decision to prevent their credit cards from being used to make Afterpay purchases and payments. Afterpay notified all customers with Capital One credit cards on file that they must update their credit card. Failure to do so within 10 days could result in late payment fees.
What if my payment history is impacted?
Once you have added a different card and paid the overdue payments, please get in touch with us and we will review your payment history.
What if I lose my Pulse loyalty rewards status because of this?
You will be eligible for the Pulse loyalty reward program as long as you have no more than 3 late payments during the eligibility period. We recommend that you update your payment form immediately in order to avoid late payments.
