Amazon purchases are made using our 'single use payment' this means we create a pre-paid card for your one time use. Sometimes this card may be used/charged for other purchases or payments through Amazon.
What do you need to do?
Before you raise the alarm with us, we need you to check your Amazon transactions.
Locating your Amazon Transaction Details:
Option 1:
- Go to your Afterpay App
- Click on the Orders tab in the app
- Go to your Amazon order and click into it. You will see the card, the charges from Amazon, and a link to click over to Amazon
- Click on the link "View in Amazon". This will take you to the page to see all the charges to the Afterpay Single-Use Payment and your order. You should be able to match all the items you were charged for. Just take the last four card numbers on the Afterpay Single-Use Payment to match to the Visa on Amazon
Option 2: From your Desktop, visit your Amazon account and click on "Your Account" in the Accounts and Lists dropdown. Select "Your Payments" and then click the "Transaction" tab.
Option 3: From your mobile device, visit your Amazon account and click on "Your Account", scroll down to "Your Payments" and select the top tab "Transactions"
If you are still unsure why the money has been taken by Amazon - please grab a screenshot of your transactions page and submit it to us via our 'goods not received' process in your mobile app - more detail here
We need the page that looks like this please to be attached to any claim of non receipt of goods relating to Amazon.
