Where can I add an Afterpay promo code for my order?
Great news! If you have a Afterpay promo code, it will be applied automatically to your next eligible order
I have a merchant promo code, can I combine it with my Afterpay promo code?
The short answer is "Yes".
If you want to use a merchant promo code, input the merchant promo code at the checkout page on merchant’s website. The Afterpay promo code (if any have been assigned to your account) will automatically be applied when completing your purchase at the checkout with Afterpay.
Why am I not seeing the promo discount on the merchant order details page?
The promo is provided by Afterpay to its customers directly, and is applied during the Afterpay checkout steps. Once the order is approved, you will see the original transaction and the discount on your order summary.
How is the minimum order value limit checked for a promo code?
The minimum order value limit is checked against the order total sent from the merchant (including sales tax, shipping fee, etc.). Any minimum spending amounts will be noted in the email you received from us.
How will I be refunded if I cancel or return the whole order?
You will receive a refund of any payments made for the order.
How will I be refunded if I cancel or return some of the items in the order?
A partial refund will be applied in the following order:
- Unpaid payments
- Actual payment amounts that have been charged on the payment method (will be refunded to your card/s)
- The discount amount (will not be refunded to your card)
How many times can I use an Afterpay promo code that's assigned to my account?
Any promo code can only be used once.
How many promo codes can I use in one single order
Only one Afterpay promo code can be applied to an order, but it can be combined with a promo code being offered by the merchant (upon merchant eligibility).
Can I see what active promotions I have in the app?
You can view active promotions under 'Promos' in the Afterpay app. Each of the promotions/offers you have will have a link to its corresponding terms. If you have no promotions, you will see a message confirming that there are no active promotions.
Please note that the promo section is only available on the Afterpay app, and won't appear if you log into your account via the web.
What is ‘Invite a Friend’?
You can invite friends and family to use Afterpay if they don’t currently have an active Afterpay account or if they've never completed a purchase using Afterpay. When they enter your unique code and make their first Afterpay purchase of $50 or more (including tax and shipping costs), they will get $10 off of that order. How long will my referral credit remain valid?
You have 90 days to use your referral credit once you are notified. As a reminder, you can check the expiration date of any promotions under ‘Promos’ in the Afterpay app.
