Afterpay provides monthly statements that are available in the Afterpay app. To access your monthly statements, an email notification is sent monthly with a link to the statement that is available in the Afterpay app - make sure that you updated to the latest version of the app.
The monthly statement periods (cycle start and end dates) are dependent on the day the Afterpay account was opened. For example, if you opened your Afterpay account on the 15th of June, you will receive a statement on or around the 15th of every month.

Why are you sending me statements?
We are sending you monthly statements to make sure you can stay up to date with your account activity. Remember, you can always check your account activity on the Afterpay app or on the website.
What periods will the statements cover?
Your individual monthly statement is sent based on the date you opened your account. For example, if you opened your account on the 15th of the month, your statement will be issued on or around the 15th of every month. The statement will cover the period between the 15th of the previous month, to the end of the day on the 14th of the current month.
How far back will statements go?
You will see statements commencing from the 30th of July 2024, onwards. We’re unable to provide account activity that occurred prior to this date on a statement.
I can’t access the app, how do I get my statement?
Contact our team here and we will be happy to send you a copy of your statement by email.
Can I generate a statement for a certain period?
At the moment this isn’t possible, but your monthly statement will cover all account activity within the statement period and will be easily accessible in the Afterpay app. If you require information outside of this period or a statement is not currently available in the Afterpay app, your full account history and current information is always available to you on the Afterpay app or on the website.
There’s incorrect information on my statement - can this be corrected?
If you think there is an error on your statement, please contact us through the app as soon as possible after the error appears on your statement. In order for us to investigate your claim you will need to provide:
- Account information: Your name, email address and phone number
- Dollar amount: The dollar amount of the suspected error
- Description of problem: If you think there is an error on your bill, describe what you believe is wrong and why you believe it’s a mistake
Please submit all inquiries regarding errors on your statement in the Afterpay app by tapping the 'Help' icon on the 'My Afterpay' page or by tapping the 3 dots at the top right corner of the app, then selecting 'Help Center'.
Can I opt out of emails notifying me of my statement?
No, the email notifying you that your statement is ready is mandatory.
If I closed my account, will I still get a monthly statement?
When you close your account, provided there is a balance or activity on your account during the statement period, you will receive a monthly statement.
I am on a payment arrangement, will I get a statement?
No, the terms of your payment plan are set up at the start of the arrangement. Once your payment arrangement is satisfied and your account is brought up to date, if your account becomes active for purchases statements will resume as normal.
