To access the Afterpay Plus Card there is a $5.99 monthly fee. If your account falls overdue it will cancel your membership and you will be notified when you are eligible to reinstate it.
This membership fee is processed securely by Square Pay - you can use any debit or credit card to make the payment (Square Pay Terms and Conditions)
This fee will show on your bank statement as 'SQ Afterpay Plus Card'
How do I change my payment method?
- Go to My Afterpay
- Tap on the settings icon (top right)
- Tap on manage Afterpay Plus Card
- Tap on Change payment method
- Scroll to 'Add new card'
- Put the new card information in, and tap on 'update card'
Will I get statements?
You will receive statements for this payment via email, you can also see your invoice history in the app.
You can follow these steps
- Go to My Afterpay
- Tap on the settings icon (top right)
- Tap on manage Afterpay Plus Card
- Invoice history
How do I cancel my membership?
To cancel your membership you will need to do so in the app, follow these easy steps
- Go to My Afterpay
- Tap on the settings icon (top right)
- Tap on manage afterpay plus card
- Tap on Cancel Afterpay Plus Card
Once you have confirmed cancellation you will be able to continue using the Plus Card until the end of the current billing cycle. At the end of the billing cycle your card will be downgraded to the regular instore card which can be accepted by Afterpay retailers
Remember you can renew your Afterpay Plus Card at any time through the settings page.
