Afterpay may send you marketing materials from time to time based on your choices or when otherwise permitted to do so. We’ll send you offers, feature updates and special announcements from Afterpay or our partners.

If you signed up to receive marketing email communications from us, you can opt-in or -out any time by following the steps below.
On any marketing email from us
You will see an “Unsubscribe” button at the bottom of any marketing message from us. You can click that button any time and follow the steps to unsubscribe from marketing emails.
On our website
Click on “Account” > “Preferences” > select your preference in the “Marketing emails” checkbox.
On our app
Go to My Afterpay app settings and select “Communication Settings”, and toggle on or off “Marketing emails”.
Email tracking pixels
Some of the emails we send may contain an 'email tracking pixel' (a 1px-by-1px transparent .gif or .png) and/or tracked links that allows us to identify when you have opened the email and to verify which links contained in the email you have clicked. We use this information to personalise the content of future emails to you. You can block these pixels by turning off automatic image loading on your entire email account and permanently remove pixels already sent by deleting the email and unsubscribing to our email marketing subscriptions by following the steps outlined in “Marketing emails” above.
Marketing push notifications
You can choose if you'd like to receive marketing push notifications on your mobile device. Go to My Afterpay app settings and select “Communication Settings”, and toggle on or off “Push notifications”. You will not receive push notifications if they are disabled in your phone settings.
Personalised ads in-app
We’ll send you recommendations we think you’d like in the app, including offers at checkout. Go to My Afterpay app settings and select “Communication Settings”, and toggle on or off “Personalised ads”. Turning off personalised ads will limit Afterpay’s ability to deliver relevant ads to you in the app but will not reduce the number of ads you receive.
Personalised ads in-app and tracking
Where you have consented to geolocation tracking for personalisation and marketing purposes, you can change your geolocation tracking preferences any time by your device settings. By doing so, we may still collect and process your geolocation for other purposes.
Cookies are small data files stored on your browser or device. They may be sent by the operator of the website you are visiting, in this case Afterpay (“first-party cookies”), or by third parties, in this case our digital partners (“third-party cookies”). Other similar technologies may be used for similar purposes, such as tracking pixels or browser local storage.
As a heads up, blocking or opting-out of some types of cookies may impact your experience and the Services we’re able to offer.
Money by Afterpay marketing communications
You can manage your Money by Afterpay marketing communications through the app. Head to ‘Profile’ > ‘Notifications’, and toggle on or off “Marketing push notifications” or “Marketing emails”.
