When you use Afterpay, you pay for your purchases in 4 instalments over 6 weeks, without incurring any interest, in accordance with the General Terms. Monthly fees apply to customers who have upgraded to an Afterpay Plus subscription. Further information about Afterpay Plus subscription fees can be found in the Specific Terms.
Afterpay caps late fees to help keep costs manageable for customers who miss a payment.
Late fees are capped at 25% of the original order value or $68, whichever is lower:
For orders $40 or less
- A single late fee of 25% of the original order value may apply if a payment is missed.
For orders over $40
- A $10 late fee may apply when a payment is missed.
- A further $7 late fee may apply if the payment remains unpaid 7 days later.
- We may charge partial amounts of these fees to ensure we stay within the cap.
