For customers in New Zealand - If your automatic payment fails, you have until 11pm (NZST) the following day to make payment.
After 11pm the following day, if that payment has not been made, you will incur a late payment fee of $10 and a further late fee of $7 if the payment is not made within 7 days (as stated in the Afterpay Terms).
We understand that there are certain extenuating circumstances which will not allow you to make payments on or before the scheduled date. If you believe you fall into this category contact us
- Payment made on or before due date = No Fee
- Payment made 1 day late = $10 NZD
- Payment made more than 1 week late = Further $7 NZD late fee (capped at 25%) of original order value.
If your payment is made 1 day late you may be charged $10 and if more than 1 week late you may be charged an additional $7.
We have capped our late fees, here is a break down:

Please note… the cap on late fees is calculated on the original order value of your purchase, regardless of any later returns or refunds. For example, a $25 Order may have a maximum of one $10 Late Fee applied, a $108 Order may have up to $27 (25% x $108) of Late Fees applied, and a $500 order may have up to $51 of Late Fees applied (maximum limit).
Once the cap is reached, no additional Late Fees will be applied to payments associated with that Order.
