Easy! If you are able to log into your online account or mobile app
- Log into your account
- Go to "My Profile"
- Enter your new mobile number
- A code will be sent to your email
- Enter this code into the space provided to verify
- Once verified a code will be sent to the new number
- Enter this code into the space provided to verify
Bit tricky! if you cannot log into your online account or mobile app
You will need to reset your password and that is going to be tricky if you no longer have access to your old phone! You will need to give us a quick call and we can help you through this, 1300 100 729
It says "Whoops - there is already an Afterpay Account associated to this number"
OK, mobile phone numbers do get reused. It is possible, if you recently got this number that the person that had it before you used Afterpay too! We are going to need to work together to resolve this. Here are a couple of options so that you can decide which is easiest for you:
Option 1
Firstly, you can give us a call 1300 100 729, from your new number so that we can start the process.
Option 2
Alternatively, you can submit a request via our help page, include an attachment that proves you own the number, this can be a phone bill, mobile phone contract etc.
